German AECM Conference in Nice
On 12–13 June, 2015, the annual conference of the AECM (Association of European Candlemakers) was held in Nice; of course, WEDO was represented there. Participants came not only from Europe but also from overseas. The well-attended event provided an excellent opportunity for discussion between all participating candlemakers and suppliers. Attendants were also updated on the latest developments in the industry; a workshop and expert presentations completed the programme. Our Sales Manager for candlewicks, Steven West (see below), delivered a keynote presentation on the topic of “candle fascination”, which was a great addition to the event.
